Aftercare

Caring for your film

  1. 01

    First 7 days

    Avoid washing the car and keep pressure washers away. Small haze or water pockets are normal and clear as the film cures.

  2. 02

    Washing

    Hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo and the two-bucket method. Rinse first to lift grit before touching the film.

  3. 03

    Pressure washing

    After the first week it is fine. Keep the nozzle 30 cm or more from the surface and never aim directly at film edges.

  4. 04

    Drying

    Use a clean microfibre towel or a blower. Avoid rough cloths and automatic brush washes.

  5. 05

    Bird droppings & sap

    Remove within a day with quick detailer and a soft microfibre. The film resists etching, but it should not sit for weeks.

  6. 06

    Scratches

    Light marks heal with heat. Park in the sun or pour warm water over the area and they will fade.
